Merge with Antica

We were discussing a merge with Antica a few months ago. I still think it's a good idea. Without alarming the rest of the population or starting rumors or reminding the Anticans - what does everyone else think of it at this point?

I think this is exactly what Babkha was thinking when they formed the GC.

Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is something you need to figure out for yourself.

I think this is exactly what Babkha was thinking when they formed the GC.

The difference being that if there's interest in here I'll put it before the Landsraad.

And Delphi...yeah...I know...but still, even so...

Merging with Antica right now would probably:

A. Disrupt the efforts the Kaiseress and others are putting forth to rebuild the country.
B. Force us to unconditionally hate Delphi to fit in with the older kids.
C. Prompt an angry response from the rest of the Micronational world, either being labelled as hypocrits for critisizing the GC and then doing something similar, or as overreacting to the GC and it's increasingly power-hungry moves, like the GSO.

A can be avoided, and so can B probably, and we could mebbe deal with C. Although it is a REALLY nifty idea, you should probably mention it first to whichever Antican is head honcho, and then, if there is a positive response, discuss it in private with people like Ma and Conglacio before saying anything publicly - not as much secrecy as the GC, but still enough so that you and anyone who seems to support it has egg on their face.

no one discused it with me, and I am not in favour of it anyway...at least, I can see incompatabilities, and I have not been shown work arounds.
