The Dutch of Kildare, William I, is on a leave of absence until sometime after the New Year's Day holiday. In his absence, the Marquess of Kildare, Gareth Arthur, is handling the day-to-day operations of the Dutchy.

Finally, the County of Blackrock has received its new leader. Gareth Arthur, 3rd Baron Lumina's Light, has selected Maximilian of Schlangen to be the new Count of Blackrock. Maximilian of Blackrock, as he is now known, was also appointed the Regent of Kitanus Fields.
