As the newly appointed Minister of the Exterior the decision has been made to re-org this Ministry.

If you wish you may remain as a diplomat to a particular micronation, however new diplomats will not be appointed to any certain nation.
It is my desire that each current diplomat remain with the Ministry and take on a new line of responsibility.

First, from the existing diplomats there is an opening for this "Assitant Minister" or whatever the heck the title will be, second in command here.

Each diplomat will be the diplomat for a given area of development and not to a particular nation. The following list is not all inclusive at this point,
areas may be changed, added, and/or deleted. Each diplomat will be given an assignment or two each month and the position will involve going to different
nations concerning the area of your expertise (or at least of your title).

From the list below - let me know what sounds interesting to you.

Diplomat area:
Executive Diplomat - report to other nations concerning our leadership and get them to tell Shireroth concerning their leadership.

Legislative Diplomat - report to other nations concerning our laws and get them to tell Shireroth concerning their laws.

Judicial Diplomat - report to other nations concerning our courts and get them to tell Shireroth concerning their courts.

MCS Diplomat - report to the MCS concerning Shireroth and get others to tell Shireroth things concerning the MCS.

Small Commonwealth Diplomat - report to other member/non-member nations concerning the Small Commwealth and get them to talk back on the Small Commonwealth forum in Shireroth.

Economic Diplomat - assist the Minister of Trade in his endevors to involve other nations in the new economic system/banking system.

Business Diplomat - involve citizens of other nations in doing business with Shirerothian businesses, and assit Shirothians in doing business in other nations.

Cultural Diplomat - involve citizens of other nations and citizens of Shireroth in cultural exchanges.

Other various diplomatic positions as we come up with them.

Very interesting development. I've long felt that the traditional macronational diplomatic system translates rather badly to micronationalism.

The style is similar to the current DiploCorps and is classified by area of specialization just as you noted. A diplomat represents Shireroth to other nations in their specialization (letting them know how Shireroth works), and solicits the same from the diplomat of the other nation. Each Shirerothian diplomat will NOT have to keep updated on their field about every nation - but they will need to know Shireroth in that area. The assignment is to get the diplomat from the other nation to report in Shireroth about the given area concerning their nation.

As Minister I expect no Shirerothian Diplomat to make a report about what another nation is like, I expect them to make reports to other nations about what Shireroth is like. Reports here will be of this kind, "I made a cultural contact in Such and Such a nation. Told the Suchers how we do this switching day thingy and invited them to come see and possibly get involved. I aslo asked if they had some event like this and to come on over to Shireroth and tell us about it."

or "I went to WiseCracker Nation and told them about a couple of our businesses here in Shireroth. The Shirerothian business owner, Goofy the Crosseyed, was interested in possible expansion. I asked them to come on over and tell us how he might do business over there." or "I requested our Legislative Diplomat (the Shirerothian Legislative Diplomat ) to see if he could get the Landsraad to come up with a policy about how the WiseCrakers might operate their business here."

It's all about promoting Shireroth to other nations and getting other nations to promote themselves to Shireroth.
