A General History

Presently — 3845 ASC during year of publication — "Eldwood" is one of the most common surnames that is found in Elwynnese families. This has held particularly true for the Nordland region of Elwynn where the bloodline is theorized to have been emerged. In some of the more remote regions, more then fifty percent (50%) of a village has been found to have the surname Eldwood, data that is both astonishing and disturbing in in its implications.

Extensive research has allowed members of the Academy of Elwynn to trace back over three hundred (300) of the current Eldwood lines to a single man. Gareth Eldwood, a man now famous for his legendary virility, is thought to have sired over a hundred (100+) sons, approximately eighty (80) of which took his surname.

To this day an elevated virility and insatiable libido remain predominant characteristic traits of both male and females born of the Eldwood line — genetic traits that have obviously ensured the survival of the line. The only other significant physical characteristic is a slightly elongated pinky toe which seems to serve no ulterior purpose.

A point of interest though emerges in an analysis of the Eldwood Psyche. It seems that a general tendency towards natural attunment with both their surroundings and other people may be developing. There is currently no reliable data that support this theory but research will continue on this fascinatingly common bloodline.
