Elwynn Historical Initiative (EHI)

Elwynn's history is as pitted and pocketed as a piece of cheese that a mouse has been at. I wish to begin a large scale historical inquiry into the past of our beloved land. This innovate would go hand in hand SSHIT, but what better a place to study Elwynness history then in Elwynn itself. I will try to compile a general timeline and root out past events but the help of the Barons and Counts would be highly appreciated. If each Noble could find out who held their positions before them I could begin work on a time line of rulers.

May the light of day finally cast its rays on the long lost stories of our past.

I don't know who came before me in Araxion...Maybe Harald at one point, but I forget/can't find anything.

I became Duke of Elwynn on Oktober 30, 2007 and abdicated on July 4, 2008.

As you may know, the Duchy was called Froyalan during the most of my tenure.

Andelarion was my predecessor and Hasan was my successor.

Araxion was empty when i became Baron of Iserdia... i had to do some digging in archives to find out about the fortress and ties to goddess Elwynn... i have no idea who were previous counts.

I became count of Smjorkyr December 12, 2007.
I emigrated from Shireroth July 18 2008.
Smjorkyr was dissolved Aug 18.
Smjorkyr was refounded and named Frieden sometime after that.
I returned Dec 17 2008.
Dec 22 2008, Frieden was renamed Smjorkyr, i was appointed Count.
Appointed Baron of Iserdia Dec 22 2008, Rai Avon El was my predecessor.

I was indeed your predecessor. I became Count of Araxion on November 4, 2005. I lost Araxion in March 2006 when Shireroth gave up Araxion in the Atkins Reduction. I was then given the County of Wintergleam which I held until a couple of weeks ago.

I, however, managed, during my tenure as Duke, to claim back Araxion for Shireroth and this Duchy.

This was all of the utmost help. Thank you good Counts and Barons of Elwynn. I hope that you each continue to research the past, demystify history, and lift time's veil.

My work in EHI has already begun and I will submit my findings and compilations to the academy and the wiki as they reach their completed forms.

I was also Baron of Hurmu, thus more or less Elwynn's "overlord" when Elwynn was a County within the Barony of Hurmu. The records of those days, have, however, been wiped out in the EZBoard Disaster on May 31, 2005.
