New signings confirmed by Syrelwynn Swifts today are Nova England's Richard Jones and Stormark's Mika Kinnunen.

Jones joins from being a free agent and has said that his cousin's (Jack Jones) presence at the Swifts swayed his decision to move to Shireroth after considering moves to Tellian clubs. The 30 year-old left-winger takes the club's 21 shirt and looks to be used as back-up to Shirerithian Nik Treyo.

Kinnunen also arrives on a free transfer after being unattached since the collapse Hurmu, his previous nation. At 27 years-old, the left-back admits that he could be playing in leagues with more history or higher standards of football, but wanted to make it clear that he has moved to the PSL because of its huge potential and has joined the Swifts to win trophies. He will occupy the number 23 and will battle it out with Freddie Jones for a place in the starting eleven.

In addition to these two major signings, Shirerithian centre-back Juli Rhahédar has been brought into the squad. The 20 year-old was on the books of the now-defunct Woodshire United during their application for a place in the old SFSA League but has been under the watchful eyes of the PSL Academy until now. The defender will wear the 29 jersey and looks to compete with Mitchell Planck to start for the Swifts.
