Petition to the Gods!
Petition to the Gods!
*Piles up 100 kilos of TNT*
Oh wise Gods! I am but a humble servant of his Angriness H'Graa! I request that you (or your nifty prophet) hear my call! What is the view of the Gods concerning the new Kaiser and the actions of Hasan I? Only you can make sense of these troubling times!
*Puts a match to the fuse*

Let only wise and good men rule in this land, people with no blood on their hands.

Blood Smudge!
Every soul has blood on their hands, whether they can see it or not.
But that is not the point. This knife.. that is a point.. but not the one I wish.
The gods came forth to ease the distress in a time of need, and a pact was made. That pact is violated. The Gods are not pleased. But the law states that this can be.
So which will you choose to honour? The Gods? Or the Laws you have sworn yourself to?
A mighty paradox is before this nation. The Laws and honour of men, against the words of the gods. What will you choose?

Re: Petition to the Gods!
There is an ancient tradition that holds that society is an arch supported by two pillars. The pillar of the King who rules on earthly matters, and the pillar of the Priest who rules on matters of the celestial.
So, let the Kaiser and the government rule by law, and let the gods rule tradition. However, I also believe Shireroth requires a LEGAL definition of tradition.

I follow the Gods. Otherwise, H'Graa will be angry with me...

I also believe Shireroth needs a Kaiser that doesn't lie to the people if he promise something.Duke Hasan Kalir wrote:

From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Thank you Jonas.
Not that Ric is a liar. He is just the supposed appointee of one. Not his fault. And the dead liar-insane-kaiser has paid with his "life".
Whereas I became Steward to Mors V, the Renewer, whose shade is probably trying to stay drunk on account of that.

Re: Petition to the Gods!
Law is secondary to the divine. This is undeniably true. It is why I supported Hasan when the agreement was made in February and I did not question it. This is now the reason I support Loki.
