I believe I've met that seagull before, although that was a different time and it went by a different name.

I wouldn't consort with seagulls if I were you - they usually turn out to be Y'brekki avatars of Sir Iain de Vembria, and it usually ends badly with loud demands to be placated by fish for their gullets and subordination to the Great Satan.

I've even heard tell of them stealing fresh-fries out of people's hands...

I've watched that at our local McDonald's.

In Seward Alaska, I could not tempt one seagull with a french fry. Plenty of fish in the bay.

In Denali, Alaska they love them.

In Casper, Wyoming, they are desperate for them.
