Primate Confirmation: Erik Mortis
I hereby open the votings on confirming Erik Mortis as the 'new' Primate of the Small Commonwealth. If the Commonwealth Assembly confirms Erik Mortis in the position of Primate I will abdicate as Primate.
By the power vested in me by Article 3 of the Treaty of General Membership to the Small Commonwealth, which allows me to 'oversee' the Commonwealth Assembly, I hereby announce that voting procedures will end at 00:00 hours on the 24th of February 2010, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, GMT, ah well, you know ).

I object! Not because I don't think that Erik is a good candidate, but because we have to give other member nations the oppurtunity to present a candidate themselves. It isn't a surprise that people see this organisation as 'Shirerithian' if elections are done like this.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Re: Primate Confirmation: Erik Mortis
I can ventilate my opinion about this, which is that this is the right and most effective way to work in desperate times of an inactive SC, but I'd rather see that people give their opinions on Jonas' reaction.
Until further notice I abort the voting procedures (which does not mean you can't say you like or dislike Erik as the new Primate).
Another question that might be interesting at this moment is who wants to be Primate too.

Perhaps we should say something about all this at the summit, which seems to be far more a hub of international activity than the SC forum itself.

I hereby re-open the voting procedures.
To make it clear: the vote is about confirming Erik Mortis as the 'new' Primate of the Small Commonwealth, which automatically mean I will resign as Primate.
I hereby determine the closing time of the voting procedures at the 6th of March, 00:00 hours UTC.

For Gralus, I vote AYE.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy
And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Re: Primate Confirmation: Erik Mortis
I hereby declare that the Commonwealth Assembly has confirmed Erik Mortis as Primate. Congratulations to Erik!
This will also be my last action as Primate. It has been a joy to serve you all and I'm sorry that I couldn't put more time and effort in the Small Commonwealth. I'll be glad to serve the SC as Primate once again, if the time is right, the need is there and if time is available. I do however hope that Erik will be Primate for a long, long time.
