A matter of time and procedures.

Post by Erik Mortis »

Right now procedure has us give votes 4 days. I think, despite the fact I was the one who wrote them, that the procedures should allow for 7 days on votes. This isn't a nation were we have a small voting assembly and really active members. We need to give people time to consult their governments.

I also suggest no time limit on treaty amendment votes.

So, I suggest the following.
Voting Regulations
a. A vote is open for a maximum of 7 days.
b. If a vote reaches 50%+1 of all members in favor before the end of 7 days it passes.
c. If a vote reaches 50%+1 of at least 1/2 of all members by the end of 7 days it passes.
d. If these two conditions are not met, the vote fails.
e. Treaty Amendments have no time limit.

I agree. Though note that if something fails through time limits, it can always be resubmitted. But in general, 7 days is good for this size organisation.

The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).
