WHEREAS, The Small Commonwealth needs an anthem to represent itself, both metaphorically and symbolically,

Therefore,

Be it resolved that the tune "Boléro" by Maurice Ravel be the Small Commonwealth's anthem, and represent the Commonwealth when needed

3-0-3. It's PassING. Not PassED. It's been 4 days. I tend to give things a week. Only 6 of 11 nations have voted.

Voting Regulations
a. A vote is open for a maximum of 4 days.
b. If a vote reaches 50%+1 of all members in favor before the end of 4 days it passes.
c. If a vote reaches 50%+1 of at least 1/2 of all members by the end of 4 days it passes.
d. If these two conditions are not met, the vote fails.

It might be my maths, or my understanding of how the rules are applied - but if I read this correctly...according to (c) doesn't this need at least 4 Ayes in order to pass? Since 50% of half the members would be 2.75 votes - then +1 would be 3.75? Do we round up or down - or follow the laws of math (in which case we would round up to 4)? I might have this all bollocksed up...just wondering. Would appreciate someone explaining it to me please.

Oh yeah. I forgot we set a time limit. I should remember.. I wrote it. Why did I give only 4 days?

Well.. then this passes.

Batavia will vote in favour of the anthem, but as always: bureaucracy is slowing down everything. :p

(The vote should be rounded up from 2.75 to 3 votes. The 50%+1 rule is badly formatted.)

I'm sorry if I have offended you, but to be honest, I am not really your 'pal' or anything.

Right! On that Note. I remind all this vote has already ended, in favor. I think I oughta lock the thread for archive reasons.
