I was nominated and interested. :angel

(Sounds a bit pushy, doesn't it?)

I'll second Harvey. Mostly cause he was runner up when I got elected. (watch as he's runner up to Jonas... that would suck...[sorry Harvey.. in a mood tonight.])

I wish to nominate myself. Considering Ashkenatza's increasing involvement in high politics throughout Micras, and her efforts to promite pan-Benecian iniatives and unity, I feel that Ashkenatza should be represented by acquisition of this post.

Batavia nominates (and thus supports) Jonas.

Jonas has put a lot of effort in a lot of member states (Batavia, Nelaga, Shireroth, de Republiek der Nederlanden) of the Small Commonwealth. He was also important in the Small Commonwealth and will be for the time coming. This effort cannot be left unnoticed and hence we think that Jonas should be Secundus.

Furthermore Jonas is almost always active, is always willing to sort things out and he will always reply when you ask him stuff in a short amount of time. I think it is righteous to say that Jonas is a reliable person and is willing to work towards a solution instead of attacking people who don't share his opinion (with words, that is).

Another important factor might just be that Jonas speaks Dutch as his mother tongue. Dutch is sort of the second language in the Small Commonwealth. Two of the eleven member states have Dutch as the only official language. I think it would be a good idea to make the Secundus someone capable of speaking Dutch. This can be just symbolically, but it might just be helpful for the communication between the Dutch nations and the Small Commonwealth.

The Viking Empire of Stormark supports Jonas for this post

I renounce my candidacy for secundus, and will support Herr Jonas in his instead. Herr Maximilian provides a compelling argument. Forgive my impetousness in putting myself up as a candidate for this post - I have spent much of my micronational career in Ashkenatza involved in interal affairs, and don't really know that much about Goyim affairs or the nuances of foreign affairs. That said, hopefully my new allocation as Minister of Foreign Affairs under his Excellency Herr Goltz's third consectutive term as Nohsi will change this.

Just FYI - Stormark actually discussed and decided on our support prior to (and outside the awesome influence of) Max's speech. :angel

What is your end of the day? My day only lasts for another 4,5 hours, but I can imagine some people just woke up ;)

Erik lives in California so his day ends nine hours later than yours.
