Sailing Ships, at Pirate sort of standard. Obviously aren't worth 1000. But obviously worth a bit more than standard 18th Century vehicles. And it depends on cannons.

If we say 100 is a fair cost for a good sailing ship with cannons, and 50 for one without canons, then how's 45 as raw material "wooden sailing ship" cost - for the charter?

You asking me? - I don't have any plans for pirates right now, but would be very interested in reading what others do with them. As for the price - ??????

Another clarification:

The prices in the SCIRA charter are NOT the unit prices. They are the raw material cost. It is only buying units priced above and beyond them that makes orbat sellers any profit. The price of a unit is its strength. For modern units, that is given by the Anunia Convention, remembering that the Anunia Convention is the base costs and if you want a better than average unit, you'd increase its strength and thus cost. For NCM there are strict guidelines to costing. For non-modern units its a bit harder. If people really want, I'll draw up a list of base costs for medieval/18th century units, above and beyond the Raw Material costs.

Allot,

I think you can't do it now since you have an orbat shop selling something else.

If you want, post a rough draft here and others can comment on it. Apart from one famous Tokish war I don't think people do medieval battles much.

oh, I thought the "it" was having an orbat shop to sell Pirates. Which I think would be cool. Maybe Pirates and Medieval should be combined into one shop.

Pirates would probably count under 18th century, as they use gunpowder.
