"Before"

I'm working on a longish story, working title "Before", to celebrate Shireroth's tenth anniversary. It's set in ancient Shireroth, back in the days of the Apollo Sector (it uses the Velchovion chronology that places Raynor and the Apollo Sector as roughly simultaneous).

Part of the goal was to try using some Praeta to set up a feel for ancient Shireroth as a culture. But without any Praeta to work from, it's mostly just ended up being a different idea of what Shireroth might have been like in the days before the Kaisers.

The plan is to start on April 1, and publish one of the ten-ish chapters every two days or so. That way, the conclusion of the story will be on April 24, the actual anniversary.

The first installment should be up in three or four days. I hope you'll enjoy reading it as much as I've been enjoying writing it.

Oh, right. I almost forgot the whole point of this. I'm going to try to be kind of clever, so if you figure out a gimmick or a plot twist before it happens, don't tell everyone else, okay? You can PM me and I'll confirm it.
