Theoretically yes.


In practice with a small sample size and many external factors almost aiming to break it (top gear)

they ordered two, went to do a test run with one and it broke, then the other one broke in the test run, if i recall correctly which i probably don't



also, not many mechanics will know how to fix a tesla volt :P
