The Shireroth Trivia Game Thread
(based on the Fall From Heaven Trivia Game Thread in CivFanatics)
Here are the rules:
1. The first person (that's me!) posts a Shireroth trivia question.
2. If you know the answer, you post it.
3. Then you get to post the next trivia question.
Some more complicated rules:
1. You can't check external aids like the wiki or the MCS map until the second day. The first day is for people who know it from memory.
2. You can't answer if the question is directly and only about you. For example, if the question was "Who was the first Kaiser?", Erik can't post and say "Me!" Until the second day. Then anyone can post the answer.
3. If you're pretty confident the answer is right, you can post your question directly after posting the answer. If you think you might be wrong, wait for the the asker to confirm.
4. If a question goes three days without being answered, then it's "open floor". Anyone who wants can post a new question. The person who asked the last question should tell everyone the answer.
The first question is:
There are at least three Shirerithian cities whose names are related to the REAL names (not login name!) of Shirerithian citizens. Name any two of them.

Eriksburg and Aracigrad spring to mind, so that should answer the question. Aside those, well, Sakatra's a bit of a stretch but I'd say it's based on a Shirithian's name, and *checks map* I can never remember what Alexandretta was named after...

Aracic was not Stjepan's real name, and Alexandretta was a Barony and not a city, but I'll give you Eriksburg and Sakatra. I also would have accepted Jessvillia.
I know yours, but I'll leave it for someone else.

Note that when I said "*checks map*" I mean I looked at the map and saw a city of Alexandretta there (actually, finding whether it was also a city rather than just a barony or county is the reason why I checked the map - I only remembered it as a barony too)

Good to know about Jacob. Lukedu's real name is Daniel K according to the wiki... Killebrew, I think.

I tried.....
Tymaria City. Tymaria was named for Diga's daughter, if memory serves, but she was Atteran, although it was one big (un)happy family way back then...

Re: The Shireroth Trivia Game Thread
Oh, if we're extending the search, then we should also mention... Markopolis, after Markos Giannopoulos (previous administrator and co-owner of the Apolyton Civilization Site) and Lamantia (after Matt Lamantia, aka The Brain, of MyNation). And while we're at it, is Boris Serov Prodigy's real name? Because if that is, that would make Serovopolis a correct answer for the original question...

No one's answered Ari's question yet, so I'll do it myself.
BENACIA!
Now for something easy (don't answer this Ari, Erik, or Andreas!).
What was the name of Shireroth's second oldest Duchy, now a part of Brookshire?

Re: The Shireroth Trivia Game Thread
This question will probably be far to easy, but I'm not very well versed in Shirithian history...
What pair of subsequent Kaiser(esse)s constitutes the only confirmed micronational example of hereditary succession from parent to child?

The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:

Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy
And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

In the future, if you're pretty sure you're right you can just ask the question as soon as you answer. And if you're not, the person before you should come by to say you were right *glares at Kaiser Reynardine*. Anyway, it's been three days, so open floor:

All I know is that nothing happened in the trivia game thread for several days. I have to blame either you or Andreas, and Andreas isn't here. Therefore...

The City/County/Barony of Alexandretta are named after a passed citizen, just to make clear. Alex. Now may we never speak of this again...

It's really not that fair for me to participate in this....but oh well...We're here.
What is the eldest Ministry in Shireroth?

Ooo, me asking questions. OK, here goes.
I've always loved Hurmu. Heh. And Hurmu was once part of Shireroth as a barony, but who was the first baron of Hurmu?
