Adamant mines

Post by Jonas »

Audentior has major Adamant mines in the north. Adamant, a green metal only found (at least, until now) in Audentior, is often used to make amulets in the shape of the sun. As the metal was used to make sun amulets even long before the Sermolotian Empire existed, many people think the Senechals of the past were inspired by the symbol. After a while they used it in their flag, and later more explanations for the choice of the Sermolotian Sun symbol came into existence.

Adamant became an important part of the incomes of the villagers in the north, who couldn't enjoy from the prosperity from the south (who had Apollo City). New mines were opened and black smiths and other personnel were needed to fill in the jobs.
Nowadays, the north is still famous for its delivery of quality Sun Amulets in different colours. It's a symbol of uniformity and has a powerful meaning for the Sermolotians.

The amulets that are sold can be broken in two, so friends and lovers can feel connected.

1. The Green Amulet
This is a rough Adamant juwel. It stands for friendship and is relative cheap.

2. The Red Amulet
It hasn't the original colour because of several chemical applications on it. The time spent to add inscriptions and change the colour makes the amulet expensive and gives it a special extra meaning: it's used by lovers. According the legends, the lovers who have a Red Amulet will never stop loving each other.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki
Can't you see? I'm crazy! :tomcutterhamonfire :smashy
