Soloralism in Sermolot

Post by Jonas »

Soloralism will be very important and present in the Sermolotian culture and life of its citizens. But since the Dark Ages, there hasn't been given attention to the hierarchy of the Soloralist church.

It's a simple hierarchy:
* Archon: The divine ruler of the Faith - has control over the management, dogma, and teachings of the faith. A micron who has this position has the honorary "Qon".
* Templar: Leader of a specific region of the world for the faith.
* Cleric: A minion of a specific temple. May specialize to a particular quintesesnce or god.
* Acolyte: Cleric-in-training.

If there is still an Archon, this has to be Bill Dusch or Harvey. What I'm sure about: we have no Templar for the Sermolotian or Kildarian region.
I'm aware that the last Archon, named Lum'Kar Sar'Qon, ruled from 2273 ASC. But he has to be dead now, otherwise he has reached the impressive age of more then 1000 ASC years (more logical explanation is that the books aren't updated :D ).

Being a Micron, you don't know ...
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

But the other Archons (including the Microns) didn't have the job so long. So I think it's more a mistake of the bureaucrats. :angel

I will establish the Soloralist Church of Sermolot, with the Senechal as Templar.

A question, Your Eminence ... does religious freedom prevail in Sermolot, or is the "state and main religion" (as expressed in the Baronial Decree) a jealous and exclusive one?

Dear Count,
You have the freedom to believe in whatever you want ( ;) ), but officially this is a Soloralist bastion within a Cedrist and Boomist Shireroth. State religion just sound nice, don't you think? :p

A Soloralist bastion with permeating streaks of Bacchic worship... :p

(I kid, the god affably respects false religions, no proselytisation here)

It shows my respect and tolerance towards other religions. Sakat for example is a respected God by the Sermolotians, even the Soloralists. ;)

So long as the Soloralists are free to consume spicy chicken, B'caw shall refrain from smiting them. ...He's feeling nice today. :jadie

If the Templar-Senechal-Baron so wishes, you are more than welcome to open a mission of the church in Ferien and Ptia. :) There are some historical tidbits posted there by Andreas as well....
