That's too bad. What is, if I may ask, the reason behind this move?
In another perspective I will put this in effect immediately, removing you from treaties 'n stuff.

Re: [Ashkenatza] Withdrawal from the Small Commonwealth
Well if I just quote from the relevant part of the act.
Essentially a repudiation of multilateralism.I - This proposal NOTES
a. the fact that membership in the Small Commonwealth has brought nothing to Ashkenatza and;
b. the fact that Small Commonwealth membership is not necessary to successfully conduct our foreign affairs, including those involving Shireroth and;
c. that the Small Commonwealth has had little impact on intermicronational relations, realistically.
II - This proposal BELIEVES
a. that membership in the aforementioned organization will not bring success to our nation and;
b. that withdrawing from said organization will assert Ashkenatzi sovereignty and independence.

It is kind of weird to complain about the state of the SC when your representative did somewhere between jack and nothing.

(I'm not complaining I'm merely imparting the decision of the incoming government - the actions of my predecessor with regards to implementing the protocols agreed to are a matter of public record, as noted above.)

Re: [Ashkenatza] Withdrawal from the Small Commonwealth
The fact that our former representative (Herr Astopov) did not actively participate in proceedings here has nothing to do with our withdrawal. The bill was passed by the Knesset because even with an active representative we did not stand to gain anything by maintaining our membership. We are not complaining about the SC...we simply don't feel we belong in the organization any longer.

*shrug* Seems silly to withdraw for a reason of "we have no reason" basically, But good luck. I'm sure you'll be welcomed back if you choose to return.

Re: [Ashkenatza] Withdrawal from the Small Commonwealth
For the record, Ashkenatza never actually got to try the SCUE, for the simple reason that, even after I finally got region names off them, they never registered a bank account for anyone in it (except for Max, who already had an account - I just moved it to Ashkenatza for him). So no money added, no money need be removed.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy
And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Re: [Ashkenatza] Withdrawal from the Small Commonwealth
unfortunate... Either way would have been nice to have more people involved and might have given them a reason to stay. Also, by leaving would have given us some data on how to deal with nations leaving the SCUE.
