Not bad for a first shot though. Jess is somewhat wittier than I imagined. Also, when I read this thread title I thought it said "OMG Eastern Benacia" which, in my honest and most humble opinion is a much better name

I shudder to remember. When Bob and I were dating, I got a 10 minute long distance call from San Luis Obispo or Fresno to Hayward, California, once a week, and it cost most of what Bob made working part time at the dorm at the front desk at school.. The mileage was about 300 miles, but the cost was over $10, four times what he and I made in one hour while working our way through school. I don't remember the cost of a transatlatic call, but I imagine it would have had to approach $100. People were more likely to send telegrams then. Yes, it was a different world, indeed. And snail mail was still very much alive. There were no other inexpensive options.

Me and Prodigy did indeed record the second episode of Eastern Benacia Radio last night. We started off with a script like Carol suggested, but somehow it ended up being 34-odd minutes long.

That aside it was a pretty good show, we covered the economy and Imperial Decrees 296/7 along with loads of other news from Shireroth and the MCS.

I'm sorry you didn't get to come on Bayen, next week!

Now Jess... it's like 30 mb... what the hell am I doing with it? I can't host it and I don't have access to EBR.podbean.
