The Diet's Decision about Gman
It has been made clear that Greg "Gman" Russell has a perfectly legitimate reason for not being active. I hereby permit the Count of Mar Sara, Count Benkern, to post here once to tell us this reason, so the Diet can decide if Greg "Gman" Russell deserves the protection he has been afforded.

Re: The Diet's Decision about Gman
Thank you, my Duke.
Greg has recently been experiencing family-related issues of the highest severity. Since it is so personal, I don't feel comfortable posting the specifics on a public forum. But rest assured, it is a matter which will take Greg all the love and support he can be afforded by everybody to get through. Mainly I think he will get this from his close friends and family, but if he does visit us, we should support him too. I doubt he will be on Shireroth for a long time. However, I think that if he does pop in, we should not greet him by saying "Oh hullo Gman, we've kicked you out of your County". Especially considering the lack of citizens in the Barony of the United Isles I don't think it makes sense to remove him from that post - who else would fill it anyway?
In my view he is deserving of protection in light of all the circumstances, Greg-side and Shire-side.

I think if a more deserving person comes, they should get the position, why should we let someone who might not come back keep their job, if they don't do their job, they should be fired!

Re: The Diet's Decision about Gman
Greg "Gman" Russell will be protected in his position for the next two weeks. If nothing is heard from him in that span of time, his protection will run out and the Baron can do whatever it is he wanted to do with that position.
MAKE IT SO!

But he never has to fill out a citizen form again.

I do hope Greg is all right.
He was the first Baron Yardistan ever had. He was so dedicated, I just couldn't help but appoint him.
