Economy

Post by Jonas »

A nation needs it own currency. The Statute of the Commonwealth gives us the right to use the Batavian bank and currency (the Kruys).

We can however chose to create our own bank and currency or using it from another nation (like Shireroth).
If we chose the Batavian bank: no problem. If we chose the Shirithian (or creating our own) bank, then we need tu use a formula:
1 unit = number of active people, over a period of two months x average number of posted posts in official meetings over a period of two months x 0,001.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Uh... recommend we go with the Batavian bank. After ICEO, all currency exchange formulas based on anything but pure capitalism have felt a bit... I dunno, gameable? I know that's not even an issue here... it's just the principle of the matter.

I will ask Jeroen to create an English version of the bank. Ehhm, I mean not a new bank, just a translation of it (accounts etc. are connected with the dutch version).

I think we even get an amount of starting money from the 'Rijksbank'.

You could always get the Shireroth govenment to give you access to the Shireroth bank and Curency. And tie into the economy.

*sniff* :(
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

I thought that was Monsignor Penisberg?
Vilhelm von Benkern - The Dolphin-...Count
:: Formerly just "benkern"
:: Rook Sentry of the Order of the Vorpal Blade
:: Count of Mar Sara IIRC
:: Former Baron of Absentia AFAIK, before that Baron of Vorpmadal TBH; also Former Duke of Yardistan IMHO
:: Dux Emeritus of the Order of Mischievous Intent

It takes moo to mango!
