B minus two days

In two more days, Shireroth will be ten years old. The big one-oh. Everyone's super-excited, except a few of the Elwynnese *cough* Kalirions who are more worried about their upcoming exams.

And at our ripe old age, we still have what it takes to attract "new" citizens. Welcome to (and beware of) Jeroen van Veen and Falkner "Corey" van der Sluijs. Don't you people dare leave again!

Andreas the Wise has completed an OMG stock exchange. Even divine Malarbor is impressed by the amount of work that went into it. Too bad it's part of the micronational economy and therefore will never be used! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! Now if only we could use Andreas' powers for good, we could rule the universe.

In further news, House Kildare has been demoted to minor house status due to a request by an anonymous "interested party" (MUAHAHA! MALARBOR STRIKES AGAIN!), diplomats from as far away as Normark, the Safirian Empire, Holzer, and Vlaanderen have been spotted at our bustling Ministry of the Exterior, there's yet another @$%#ing Praetor election, and Turkey and Japan advance ever onward in the latest Octavius-sponsored game of Diplomacy (which might soon be becoming a league sport).

To celebrate Shireroth's birthday, we will be having a party on #micronations Saturday the 24th. The party will last all day, but probably pick up around 5 PM EST / 10 PM GMT. Also, Scott Alexander's story "Before", about the foundation of Shireroth, will reach its exciting climax - so be sure to read Chapters 1 through 9 before then.
