All hail Kaiser Gaelen III. If you happen to come across him, that is. Otherwise, just be prepared to hail him the next time he visits these parts. I'm sure that will be sufficient.

The Kaiser's glorious forces under the command of Lords Tosha, Dine, and Russell have penetrated deep into Ocian-Amokolian territory. In coordination with our bold Ashkenatzan allies, they are preparing a final assault on the dastardly Montague and his stooges in their stronghold of La Terre. But the news from the west is not entirely good. Mercenaries taking Ocian pay have bombed Caligae and landed special forces there in preparation for some kind of plot involving our missiles. All Elwynnese and other citizens are warned to be vigilant and be ready for deployment of local militias. WE SHALL REVENGE!!!!

Pete of Alexandria, universally beloved long time Administrator-General of the Micronational Cartography Society, has resigned, leaving the venerable institution under the command of Adám of Craitland. A hundred oxen have been sacrificed in Pete's honor, and Adám has been sent the traditional gift of several thousand gallons of dark red paint. We hope he finds it very useful.

In other news, Spangle's a professor, Allot's new Deputy Praetor, Scott's back, people are getting overly concerned about the politics of some mythical country called America, money for maps, city maps for money, Jonas making a new special map, strange things afoot in Elwynn, cloud-divining in Melangia, and more of those sorts of thing.
