WAAAAAAAAAAR! Benacia has been thrown into exceptionally well-organized turmoil with the Ashkenatzan declaration of war on Ocia. Amokolia, formerly an Ocian colony caught in the middle of the struggle, has declared independence and is now fighting with the Ashkenatzans. President Kovac of Ocia has vowed death to the fascist aggressors. Shireroth has promised aid to the Amokolian independence forces, but has yet to officially join the war on the Ashkenatzan side. The Kaiseress, in an astounding break with the usual tradition, retired peacefully and fully alive yesterday on the 100th day of her reign. In accordance with the prophecy, she has declared Duke Ari of Straylight to be her heir. Until Ari arrives, the Khan of Vijayanagara is ruling Steward.
