Ifni has smiled upon this land and given it new citizens! Mike Fors the former Morovian is now a Yardistani. And good old Gman Russell proves the old saying - leave seven times, come back eight. Can complete Shirerithian domination of Micras be far behind?
DEATH TO THE KAISER! People concerned about possible violations of the "three month rule" have told Kaiser Hasan to leave the Golden Mango Throne - as soon as he's ready to do so, of course. The Kaiser has stated his willingness to comply, and even arranged a comfy retirement package for himself: he's now Duke of Elwynn. On Morsday, a crowd of citizens gathered around Raynor Keep, waiting for the abdication announcement, only to be dispersed with extreme prejudice by Hasan's Babkhan guards.
In other news, Shireroth football takes shape, a bar association threatens to visit our country with that foulest plague of Balgurd - lawyers! - and Straylight has become so arcane and nonsensical that even I in my mighty demonic omniscience am getting confused. MAKE SENSE, FINLAND! MALARBOR DEMANDS IT!

Re: Stuff
The three month rule is a consitutional convention rather than an absolute rule, so what we are talking about here is not really a violation but more bad form through non-adherence... did say bad form... I mean't nothing of the sort... *backs away slowly from the angry chap carrying the sword of vengeance.*

Or her pleasure. Nothing says a Kaiser or Kaiseress must abdicate or be assassinated at three months. If things are going well, who knows how long a good reign can last? Kaiser Hasan has served well and is well-loved by the people. Why leave now?

Because others grasp for power.

Re: Stuff
But the end of a reign almost always comes with the Kaiser's cooperation, collusion or personal action. Until that day comes, zir citizens remain loyal to the Kaiser as they always have.
