And he uncorks a fastball!

GONE just inside the first base foul line!
The Lindenberries win another one,
and the Samsos have lost their third in a row............

Yup, it's a good thing I don't play baseball. My entire enormous salary would be spent replacing bent and broken bats and massacred balls...

I remember hearing about how radio announcers used to re-create baseball games by reading wire service copy.
It would be a lot of fun, but a ton of work. Maybe EBR might do an inning or so some day?
