Council Decision - Ammendment to the Procedures
Is the Council is willing to give Counts the right to vote in the Council, with the provision that Barons are allotted two votes and Counts one? See the Steward's current proposal for more information. Please vote AYE or NAY for your Barony.

NAY.
I believe that Scott only proposed this for the situation of impeaching a Duke. It makes no sense to change it permanently.

AYE.
Counts have always had the power to vote in the Council, and I think the new Duke took it away too quickly and without due consideration for why it has existed. Although we are a feudal country, we recognize that authority is not always correlated with wisdom. Many of our wisest citizens, including Rai Avon-El and Harald of Froyalan, are counts, and we deny them a chance to influence Elwynnese policy at our peril.
From a feudal perspective, everyone should be perfectly happy letting the Duke make all decisions. The Council exists to balance that and provide a more representative alternative. if we exclude the majority of Elwynn from having power in the Council, we lose that purpose.
I would prefer that all citizens have an equal vote here, but I am willing to compromise by supporting this proposal.

In this case... Coolest avatar wins!
Or the Duke chooses... But that's no fun. Plus it's hard to make him agree with anything. But if any one can do it it's going to be you Scott.
We should also consider electing a sort of tie breaker that gets to vote on situations like this one where there is a tie. Just a thought though.

The Tie Breaker is me. In this case...
*drum roll*
I'm going to have to go with Scott and Nathan. And NOW it will be much easier to solve this whole line of succession business.
Thank you all for your time.
EDIT: Rules of Order and Clarifications have also been edited.
