Constitutional Convention - Voting
Dear Nobles of Elwynn,
Recent research has demonstrated that voting in the Imperial Republic has acquired a unique and mostly unquantifiable value, which is more disadvantageous than advantageous. Given that the time required for the appropriate evaluation of issues requiring a vote is generally quantifiable, and given that we all have other duties and responsibilities which may be arguably of greater value, should we resolve with immediate effect to only expend our valuable resources on issues that are either fundamental to the existence of the Imperial Republic, to the existence of this Duchy, or to any activity in which the Duchy is officially involved or represented?

Seeing as this matter is neither fundamental to the existence of Elwynn nor Hyperborea, nor is our County officially involved, Hyperborea chooses not to answer your question.

Re: Constitutional Convention - Voting
As an update, His Grace the Duke of Brookshire has made an offer to support the abolition of the voting credits system, providing that there would then be majority support for the introduction of a managed system of professionals.
I would therefore consider issuing a further decree which would repeal that above and commit us to a vote for such a system, providing that a resolution to abolish the voting credits system has first been put before the Landsraad and that His Grace has voted for it.
What is your consensus regarding this, dear Nobles?
