I abdicate as Baron and do not designate an heir. The Barony shall revert to the control of the Duke.

Any reason? Will you stay on as a resident here. .. and.. you do realize this will disband the barony completely right?

I can stay as a resident since I haven't given up my citizenship. But please find another Baron and my participation will be very low for a while.

ummm.... There is no one else to be Baron. And with no heir the title is dissolved and with it the lands you hold in fief. Under the new structure, lands and titles are bestowed seperately and to a person. A Barony is a description of the lands held in fief by a barony, it's not a static geo-political entity like the traditional state or province.

Stay on as Baron, even an inactive one, and you can maintain your lands and title.
