The island of Azarea (see schedule 1) is separated from the County of Modan Lach, for the island to form an exclusive jurisdiction of itself, governed by a Council of Nine, of which the membership includes myself and eight others whom I will once established myself on the island appoint.

I've decided to concentrate on a small island than an entire barony though.

Azarea, in Hurmu Azjareyja, formerly the north-western-most island of Modan Lach, immediately west of Eriksburg, is about the size of Bali.

The etymology of Azarea is as such:

From Hurmu Azjareyja, from azj (genitive azjar) of the same Khaz-Modanian root as the county of Zh, and the Norse "eyja" meaning "island".
