Languages in Lakhesis

Post by Malliki »

I would like to have a discussion with and amongst the counts of the barony about the various languages spoken in Lakhesis and their status in the counties. As I can see now, the languages spoken in Lakhesis are Shirithian English, Lakhesian, Passikaans and Yardistani. In my mind, Lakhesian and Shirithian English are the official languages of the barony as a whole and should both be spoken by people in all or most of the counties. What is your view on this?

I agree. They seem to be the most practical languages of this area. We shouldn't opress the local languages, however.

For Highpass that would probably be Passikaans as official local language and probably majority language, with Lakhesian and Shirithian English as co-official languages.

You are of course free to choose your own official languages for your county, but I ask, nicely, that at least Lakhesian is included as co-official, since it is the primary official language for the barony as a whole.

Benacia has Benacian Anglish.It's just like English exept the vowels are wrote and pronounced different.
a = ah
e = eh
i = ee
o = oh
u = oo
y = ai
So the phrase My name is . would be : Mai nahmeh ees .
