Some time had now passed since the Kildarian Time War, the founding of the ANOVA, and the famous Gong Li Rebellion. The defeat of the Shadow Ralzun, and the confessions of the shadowmancer Kelshazzhar to the Baron, Andreas the Wise, had sufficiently resolved the matter of the Raynor Divide. But still there was no Raynor Reunion. Though Libertopia had grown in stature and power when their previously novice mages had been trained extensively in the arts of NCM, the town of Biotopia, by contrast, had experienced no such growth. Indeed, the lack of a successful resolution to the matter of Deep Trouble had been a cause of tension. Even though the divide had been shown to be unnecessary, that it had persisted for so long made it hard to reunite. That being said, the matter of the shadows was not well known among the public. More would have to be done on it, Baron Andreas thought. But how to proceed ...
