You live in an empty land

Post by andelarion »

Dear Sir (Count of Wintergleam, Duke of our Grand State)

I notice that the county is somewhat empty. Perhaps you should erect some cities :)

But then again, it's winter, and in Wintergleam winters are cold...

Eliria and Utasia will glady help you out. Our capital is overpopulated with congestion and so on. Perhaps some of the Elirians can be pursuaded to move to Wintergleam?

Sure. Elirians would be most welcome to move to Wintergleam to live in the city or cities that is/are to be erected. :)

Then get started! :)

You should build yourself a manor, and a little town around it. Near the coast perhaps... but it can get really cold during winters here in the duchy, so make sure you have sufficient insulation.

Also, may I recommend that you don't use wood? Wood is scarse here... but we are trying to grow more forests.

I could import wood from Bosworth where I'm Duke of Gascony and Gascony is "just around the corner".

That seems wise. :) ANd it would open up trade links to them. What can we offer in return?

We have abundances of pack animals (mostly camels), natural gas, and cattle in Wintergleam.
