Flags!

Post by Bill3000 »

I am willing to convert or create new flags in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format, which are easily convertible to PNGs of arbitrary size. If you've seen the flag proposals thread, or looked in the Kildare forums, you should know my work. Here's some examples:

Price is 500 erb per flag. When renovating a flag, please try to have flags with as little symbols as possible, or at least flags that are as non-pixelated as possible; SVG graphics are essentially build from primitive shapes, and raster-converted graphics don't look good. Coats of Arms on flags are much harder to convert. The current Brookshire flag, for example, is unconvertable due to its pixelated coat of arms on the flag.

Flags that I will take on are not limited to flags within Shireroth, although you would need to pay money through the Small Commonwealth Bank system.

What exactly is the advantage of .svg and paying money to convert it to that kind of image? Just asking, I never got why it's so much used lately.

The .svg format is scalable, which means that you can enlarge it or shrink it without it losing its design. No pixellated borders and no artefacts.
