Trade with Matbaa

Post by Maximos Qutreh Bar Idwhar »

Dear All,
I have three proposals I wish to put forward.
1. Please can we open a Hadji Mehmet's coffee house in Shirekeep and in Mortis Mercatoria?
2. Please may we operate a ferry link from Benacia to Matbaa?
I think these will both help our economies... and our appetites in case of Hadji Mehmet's :kaiser
3. Please can Matbaa's railways link to the trans-Shireroth Railroad?
I'd like it if Matbaa and Shireroth could become good trade partners one day, especially since we're sharing the same continent. (I expect Matbaa to get a whole lot bigger soon)
I look forward to your reply!
Regards,
H.H Abbot Zatriarch Maximillideus I of Matbaa

Thankyou, sir!
'tis a privelege to be trading with such a nation as Shireroth!
Matbaa's economy is what we value most. Being Middle Eastern/ Syraic themed, tradesmen are an integral part of our economy. However, now that Matbaa has left the CIS and thus does not border Shireroth anymore, I cannot offer a ferry link with your nation. Air Matbaa could fly to Shirekeep via Helion and Vladagrad if you prefer. I shall explain to you how Hadji Mehmet's works in due course. :)

The Corporation would be interested in providing shipping between the two nations, if possible.

I've been thinking of the possible benefits of providing mass shipping via large trading ships for intercontinental shipping and building high-speed computer controlled magnetic train lines for land shipping.

You're both forgetting that we *have no economy* working except on a purely simulationist (rpg) level. If that's what your talking about (as usually we all are), then perfect. :)

Well, I could just do it out of the goodness of my heart...

But that would make me laugh.

Instead, think of it as a present. One that encourages you to buy from The Corporation in the future, once an economy gets underway.

Trade has already begun between Matbaa and the Corporation.
Please may we sign a treaty of mutual recognition and non-agression?
Also, now that Matbaa borders part of the Shirereithan colony of Mar Saba, may we arrange some kind of border crossing agreement?
