The Ocean Palace

Built by the Jasonians at the height of their power, a place of refuge for their most treasured of posessions, and a base of operations should they turn against Shireroth, the Ocean Palace lies about 23 miles out from the Port of Halluci in Lake Christoph. After originally being built, a series of events, including the death of the President, and the cold war with Shireroth, led to it being abandoned and only it's most basic electronic defences manned - though 'basic defences' included two dozen Typhoon Class submarines of impeccable Jasonian design. It fell largely into disrepair - whole outer sections collapsed to the pressure of the water, and manner of the remaining sections were not far behind. When it was rediscovered by a band of daring archaeologists led by Baron Andreas the Wise, it was lucky indeed that the major battle occurred just outside the Eternity Chamber, the most defended and fortified region of the whole structure - otherwise none of them may have been left to tell the tale.

But with the Remnant safely defeated, for now, Gralan and Batavian scientists set to restoring the Palace for Shireroth, as an eternal posession of the Barony of Atterock. After much hard work and reconstruction, the palace is now once again open. While more reconstruction is still to come, it currently includes:
The Eternity Chamber (closed to all but the Baron and Duke)
Barracks for 300 score soldiers
Two dozen Typhoon Class Submarines as guards
Another two dozen Shiriithian Sumbarines
Three research rooms for deep pressure analysis
and absolutely no tourist access (for anything under 5000 erb :whip )

Hehehe :)
The Ocean Palace will be handy in future wars.

Lord the Wise, maybe you can lead the following expedition... we need to refind the Hallucigrad library. And only you have the experience to find it.
The city is a ruin, lost hundreds of years ago in the Lost Ages, and not very easy to find. A lot of researchers have tried but even with the old maps that we have they didn't found anything. You are our last hope! :p

When you put it like that ... how can I refuse?

Unfortunately, you'll need to find in real life someone or something to actually fill in the information we find there ...

Erik, Hypatia and I all tried on Friday over dinner. So far, he is non-committal. I hope he returns, too.

I still think the virtual tour is one of the coolest things I've ever created, ever.

Having just redone it, I entirely agree.
