(More Useless Knowledge And Random Crap Than Any One Should Ever Need)

Now, I am an authority on Star Wars, Tolkein, Lewis Carroll, among others.
I could try and figure out how to teach stand up or acting or any other aspect of theatre.

So, i could teach any of these... or if someone else has a request and I know what its about I can whip up a short month long course.

OR.... maybe, there could be a debate on various genres of geekery...

please, let me know.

I could most assuredly have a lecture on the practicality of having a D&D campaign set in the world of "The Holy Grail." Or, What exactly happened at the end of the movie, or... WTF were the Fench doing! Or, maybe someone can help me exact the wind velocity of an unladen sparrow, or of an unladen coconut.

Any other usggestions?

That'd be me.

By all means, you may teach about Monty Python... and, if you get to it, about Tolkien as well.

When you go to the University, though, be careful in the halls. The Ministry of Silly Walks has been interviewing candidates there.

as RL school comes to a close for me (for the academic year anyway) I think ill be teaching once more.... sooo.....

Would you be interested in becoming one of our rotating faculty at my new Port Nevermore Center? We have promised instruction to those who want to learn something new to prepare them for any adventure they seek. Your title would suggest you would be ideal for this job. Please let me know if you would like to take this on as well. Thanks.

why yes... that sounds awesome.

i do know a bit about blade work as well as some stranger arcane arts..

on top of my expertisese in various areas I think i could be quite useful...

At this point, what you propose seems a great start. As soon as we have students to teach, we will know what the curriculum needs to be. If you remember, I have promised to find teachers to instruct students in whatever discipline they wish to learn. I await the students, but I am trying to staff the faculty before the instruction period begins. I appreciate your prompt response--I can't wait to see how the Center develops. Thanks again. I will get back to you as soon as I hear what is needed.

Ahhh, the sweet smell of learning.

Would this participation in the Port Nevermore Center preclude you from teaching at the University, Baron 3lfs0n, or are you interested in attempting both?

I see no reason why the good baron and all of the instructors at the Port Nevermore Center cannot teach in multiple venues, because we will have a rotating faculty, teaching when and what is needed at any one time, for a limited length of time.

i teach in halls, warehouses, in small houses, out in forests, (and in the occasional sororoity house )

I would LOVE to teach Star Wars....

have yet to meet a geek who could outdo me at trivia without said geek being an incredibly sad little shut in. i mean like nerd/freak with NO friends shut in, even more so than us.

so, i would feel very comfortable teaching about the Galaxy Far Far Away. what would you like to learn?
