An Italian town called Matera consists of a newer, more modern portion, and an older one consisting of ancient cave dwellings. People lived in the caves in poverty in the 50s, but for hygenic reasons were moved into the new town thereafter. But now, the caves are finding use again as a location for computer servers and high-tech companies.
