Your flag and symbol are both very nicely crafted, and I love the symbolism, but your "coat of arms" is not an armorial bearing at all. *Pet peeve alert*

You said that about Matbaa's coat of arms, didn't you?Your flag and symbol are both very nicely crafted, and I love the symbolism, but your "coat of arms" is not an armorial bearing at all. *Pet peeve alert*
Oh well, I'll call it the County Symbol or something, then

Why? He's using European heraldry standards.. Shireroth Heraldry standards... are much looser...

Re: Modan-Lach Flag and Arms
IMHO, it has to be mounted on a shield of some kind in order to be considered a coat of arms, and it needs to be something (or a combination of somethings) which could conceivably appear on a knight's shield. Of course, the outrageous quartering we see on the achievements of some old families is far too decadent.

So they're not technically arms. Fine. But they're still representing my countyIMHO, it has to be mounted on a shield of some kind in order to be considered a coat of arms, and it needs to be something (or a combination of somethings) which could conceivably appear on a knight's shield.
