Shireroth

As the sky lightens toward a new day, Port Nevermore rings with voices calling to each other, and with the sounds of crates and slings being unloaded onto the dock. Ships have brought items from all over Micras to be sold, traded or bartered in the new Port Nevermore emporium. Supervising the progress is Countess Carol, who smiles as her dream approaches reality. There have been delays, but things are now ripe to begin her new venture in this small pirate village. She hangs the new wooden sign of a raven above the door, and goes inside.

Her warehouse-sized building displays the rare, unusual and priceless treasures of Micras, with many more hidden from public view. Her assistant asks, "Where did all these things come from?" Countess Carol replies, "We have sources for all sorts of things, many of whom wish to remain anonymous. Whoever wishes an item may offer what seems a reasonable price, or to trade or barter. We can also procure most anything a person may desire, no questions asked."

In addition to her merchandise, Countess Carol especially looks forward to the new training and outfitting center. "Anyone may come to learn a new skill, a new trade, to prepare for an adventure and we will train them and then outfit them for the adventure they seek."

Emerging into the new dawn, Countess Carol declares, "The Port Nevermore Center is now open for business! All of Shireroth is welcome to our Grand Opening. We will have feasting, drinking and song. Come to the party, my friends. Please enjoy yourselves while you are here."

*An airship comes in off the horizon to the west. It is the Flagship of Baron H4773r 3lfson. It docks above the other water locked ships. A few Rope ladders are dropped onto a clear spot on the pier. And down ascends H4773r and a small entourage.*

The Spirit of Saldena is a swift craft. I have another laden with cargoe which will berth on the waves. It has many Lunarian goods, as well as gear from Alexandretta.

A new day is approaching. Debris and burned-out fireworks shells litter the ground. Groundskeepers pushing brooms collect garbage and replace fixtures where they belong. The new Port Nevermore Center is open for business. The raven shingle is out, and people are coming in to see what might be for sale, and what kinds of training classes might be available.

"If you don't see what you are seeking, please ask. We have many precious and unusual items in the back or in our vault, and if we don't have what you desire, we will find and procure it for you. If you have a item to sell or trade, we are interested. No questions will be asked."

"We are seeking instructors who can teach any skills someone might wish to learn, and we can then outfit you for your adventure."
