They hover, they don't fly.

Hmmmm...

Just for the sake of argument, if you got a lot of them together, could they float something big? And just how high do they go? Could you, say, design an airship around them?

dealing with weight distribution....it should be very possible. I would have to do the exact math and physics...to see how many hoverkittens it would take for a hovercraft that could actually hold people....

but also remember...I will not tolerate the abuse of my hovercats!!

They will be well treated. Catnip daily!

The kittens could float it in shifts, and the ones that aren't working get to rest and eat. After all, it's not like there'd be a weight penalty for hoverkittens, even idle ones, so there could be as many aboard as needed to make sure the work is distributed!

(Well, I guess the food would be a different matter as far as weight, but first things first.)

*looks at the progress on her ranch*

It is coming along nicely...then your plans for hover-cat...hover-craft can start being implemented.

Erik...trust me...you don't want to give them cat-nip everyday...or they will start hovering in all directions and your hovercraft would fall to the ground....spazz hover-cats!!! zomg!

Shy...that sounds more like it. Hoverkittens have feelings too. But it will take a while for the plan to go into effect as we are just starting the breeding process and they don't reach full maturity until the age of 2.

Only after they are off duty...we don't want them spoiled now...do we?

Construction is pretty much complete. I also have 5 litters of hoverkittens on the way. :) Everyone will have to make sure they come and play with them...they are very friendly and playful...and will do almost anything for attention. :P

they need their tails free for their hover ability...you tie their tails together and we cease to have hover kittens....

....I think we are going to need to order some harnesses....who works with leather?

So my hoverkitten trainers were working hard while I was gone...and they found a way to keep the kittens hovering close together....

*tests out hoverkitten hovercraft*

*purrrrrrrrrrrrrr (kitten motors :P) *

*crash bang*

Okay...need to work on steering...

*sits under a tree and ponders*
