This gives me enough courage to post the flag of my County of Kaikias, though neither version is as good as the flag you've made. (Now, if only I could figure out how to get images onto my posts...)

First, you need to find somewhere to host the image - I'm using Photobucket, but there are others.

Secondly, there's a neat little "IMG" tag that's pretty easy to use - Photobucket even puts it in for you in one of the options.

http://www.photobucket.com
http://www.imageshack.com

Not sure about the others, though there's always the idea of paying for your own hosting space.

Braden--Do you dare say that to our founder's face? We have voted several times and decided to keep the original one for historical reasons.

Maybe it's an ugly flag, but it's our historical flag. It's showing the age of our country, it's our proud, it's our... flag!

Shireroth's national flag may not be very artistic, but it's far too old to ever change.

Does anyone have the lost flag?

If not ... I felt sorry for Lumina's Light, not having a flag ... so I whipped something up in GIMP. With the lights (obviously) and reference to the Kitanus fields (even if I don't think they actually ride horses, horse says "field" very well)

Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

With all due respect, it doesn't look very... flag-like :p. Besides, in my books it still is sacrilege to call this place "Lumina's Lights", so a flag certainly shouldn't have more than one light in it...

(oh, and no, they don't ride horses much on the Kitanus Fields. They prefer dragons over there.)

If someone can get in touch with Steve, he might be able to upload the flag he posted here. It was perfect, but we hadn't moved it off photobucket. I had forgottern it had been deleted until now. Between two weddings and a long illness, the flag issue got put on hold, I'm afraid. Does anyoine know how to reach him? I know he reads Scott's LiveJournal, because he occasionally posts there. If we can't get the original Baron's flags, I guess we'll have to try to create a new one. And, no, I don't really care for the one shown in the new post. Sorry.

I'm kinda hoping that the flag I found in our forum's flag directory isn't the original and official one, because I'd have to eat my words if it were :tomcutterhamonfire

That is one of the flags Steve proposed. I'm open to more suggestions, though. I think our barony should show the stars perhaps, but something else that signifies who we are. I see that Baon Mike is asking for suggestions for a new name for his barony, and we need a new flag here in Lumina's Light.

That seems like a possibility, but I need to spend a bit more time investigating the history of Lumina, and what the light consists of. Thank you for your suggestion.

After researching as much as the wiki discussed, I discovered that other than a reference to Lumina as the mother of Malarbor, nothing more is shown as part of the history of this barony. I guess we would need some light, but other than that it seems to be a blank slate.
