In the time after the civil war, the Norfolk islands were not the most peaceful of places to grow up in. In the end, many of it's citizens took to Piracy to make ends meet, and the islands became a dangerous place to sail between. After Kaiser Mors came to power and the fortunes of the country began to look up again, fewer of the citizens needed to do this to survive, but a number opted to stay in Piracy, as a family tradition, and for the chance of Adventure on the High Seas. However, rumours still abounded of a Beast of the Deeps lurking around the outer isles, and even the pirates feared the sail there ...
