You have one, so, yeah.

I kinda like one. Any more would clutter the map. Monty Crisco isn't that big.

But we can always add the city of "Ankh" along the river.

We like clutter, and Monty Crisco is enormous, you know. At least if you look to the official scale.

Keep in mind that with the vector map, we're going to have even more room for cities than we do now. If we get a head start with adding more, it'll keep Shireroth from looking depopulated later on.

If it helps, think of it this way: Look at the MCS map, and those nations with just a few cities to their name. We may already be greater than them, but with more cities we will pwn them that much harder. :document

At any rate, Ankh will be added.

I'll make up more cities as they come to me.

And again. Ardashirshahr indicated as capital of Alalehzamin, Musica indicated as capital of Musica; the cities in Syrelwynn redone after I found a map, added cities to Wintergleam after finding a map, added cities to Illumination after I found a list of cities (although the map that went with them is no longer available, so I had to pick the locations), added cities to Elsenar on the basis of making-stuff-up.

In anticipation of the passage of the Cimmeria Bill, Wolfraven is indicated as capital of Cimmeria, and Echo as capital of Wintergleam; in likewise anticipation of the passage of the Iserdia Act, I changed the name of Smjorkyr to Iserdia. I think it's pretty unlikely at this point that either will fail, but in the event that they do I shall be suitably humble and change these back.

Still need to get county capitals for Cape Farewell, Lesser Attera, and the Raynor Isles.

Also: What is Eastern Absentia on the claims map is listed in the Imperial Lands forums as "Agningas". The Imperial Lands forums also mention a "County of Ž" and an "Isle of Azarea". Are any of these official?

I tried to rename the county a while back, Benkern threw a fit, and then I believe Jacobus officalized it, so it should be official.

Yep, I found the relevant threads. That works for me, then; it will be shown in the next update.

Edit: Incidentally, would you have any ideas for a third city for Asantelian? Something that might go in that emptier inland region?

And again. Some capitals added, Nee shown as a large city.

Cities in Kralizec added, Eastern Absentia renamed Agningas, Caligae made county capital of Cape Farewell.

Did the Woodshire/Caverden border change?

Not that I know of...

For some reason I recall Citadel being on the top of a mountain.. but in the middle of the county... this'll make my potential story feel weird now... Why put your capital on the border?

Right.. it needs to be moved. Citadel is supposed to be on the top of a mountain.

As reference, move it down and to the right, as close to Mt. Crestfall as possible without putting in the county of that name.

What's with a MOMA Stn Sabatini doing where Baiagaat should be on Mirioth?

IT'S A GREG!

I think in the original draft of the map Ardy put bases in spots where it looked like we needed some, and left it at that. I'm sure there's no reason it couldn't be shifted to a different spot, though.

Erm, that would be good your niftiness. Baiagaat is a fairly important port city on Mirioth. Don't know why there would be a base there, or anywhere in MASS for that matter. There was a satalite base on Amity I believe... that was it.

Maybe we could get it shifted to the Isle of Yardistan...

Because while the distribution of bases is primarily based around defending Shirekeep and wider Benacia it is also useful to have bases in Yardistan and Kildare since force projection and logistics tends to rely upon having a network of such things.

Since the Isle of Yardistan is next door, would that be an appropriate alternate location for the base?

The final version of... this version of the claimsmap is done, and has been submitted to the MCS, in the interests of getting it out there sometime this century. MoMA Station Sabatini has been moved from Mirioth to one of the inoffensive little islands between Mirioth and So-Sara.

Thank you, and good day. :kaiser
