I'm looking through in my efforts to reconcile Gralan history with Micran/Shirithian ... and I notice that on the very first map ... Shireroth owns part of Tapfer. See there at the bottom there. And it's currently unclaimed. Well, the question naturally arises ... should this be on the Mango Map?

It's marked as "Shireroth and surrounding territories", so I'm not sure... especially since I have no recollection at all what significance that area has in our history (I was in Jasonia back then and thought of Shireroth as a strange far-away nation of bad spellers)

I still feel I owe Zindaria a story after they put a city named Dolphin Bay on Solaria Island. I mean, as far as I know, it is a coincidence, but I must say it is an especially tasty one. They were asking for archeology and bad science fiction, and when I first heard of it I did try to come up with something.

Unfortunately, I never could. With the enormous amount of detail around Soloralist history that I never assimilated, the history that I'd forgotten, the people from that time who were still around and would definitely see if there were inconsistencies in whatever I'd write... everything I thought of seemed either too boring, too cheap, or too likely to stomp over canon.

For what it's worth, the original story of the Audente research team in the City of the Sun was meant to be a pretty basic piece of transhumanist fiction. The place seemed to be in ruins and everyone seemed to have died, but actually they all had just been destructively uploaded. Oh, and the jungle was a computer. I think. Anyway, they felt regret over having given up their bodies for some reason that I can't quite remember.. maybe they were trapped in the city now? Or it might have been that the uploading was not voluntary... it's all pretty well mixed up in my head by now.
