Shirerithian passport

Post by Scott of Hyperborea »

I hear the poor Ashkenatzi border guards are grumbling that it's kind of silly for them to be checking passports all the time when the only passports that exist are their own. In order to help them out, the Ministry of the Exterior will now be issuing passports to all Shirerithians who request them.

Please mail two passport sized photos, a 100 erb processing fee, and a copy of your birth certificate to your local Ministry branch.

The MRP code for this passport is:

Code: Select all

P<IRSANTURION<<LIRE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
0729735256IRS3601224F5702103<<<<<<<<<<<<<<00
I calculated it using this tool.

Lol why is there a Swedish version of the text? Because it's pretty wrong. :p

Kinda. By the way, is it weird just for me to have it issued in the name of the MiniEx?

Not sure on the conventions of sovereign immunity but you probably don't need one for the duration of your reign. ;)

I meant that passports are often issued in the name of the head of state. :)

That's my idea :p

Depending on the circumstances of the Kaiseress' departure, she could be seen as fleeing Shireroth and therefore abdicating.

Version 2.0:

Image

- Uses CJ's nifty passport number calculator
- Corrects the Swedish text (I'm using Swedish as a stand-in for Praeta in the absence of the latter, since it's Germanic and our Kaiseress' language)
- Uses Daniel Farewell's information

I'm not really up for doing the whole thing again, but if you have Photoshop or another decent paint program you can do it yourself. For the background, you'll want to use a Guilloche pattern (just google-image Guilloche and you'll get some good ones). The font I used is MyUnderwood, available at http://www.dafont.com. The details of what exactly goes on it are available on your own passport and you probably know more about than I do anyway considering that nifty program you found.

Let me know if there's any other way I can help you.

You put 79 for the birth year instead of 97. Also the filler character is < not -.

The correct text is:

Code: Select all

PLSXIFAREWELL<<DANIEL<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
0000000022SXI9713260M6405249<<<<<<<<<<<<<<04

I put 79 because I was using the ASC calendar and it corresponded to when the account was registered (except I think I added 20 or 30 or something so he wouldn't be a hundred years old).

The font I use can't make slashes.

It's not a slash, it's a left sharp bracket < used in HTML tags.

Here's my Safirian passport

I can make passports for others. I'll need two 127x170 passport photos, your birth certificate, a 100 erb processing fee, and I'll need you to swear fealty to the Queen of the Safir (dual citizenship is allowed).

Pretty neat (and very official looking) - although if it's layered and you can change the layers I think a more complicated guilloche would do you good.

Well, the original wasn't layered, and I can't get SecuriDesign (a guilloche addon for CorelDraw) to make any good guilloche patterns.

Just remember that you'll need a you-know-what to use it for longer than 30 days. ;)
