Ducal Holiday Resolution

It has become evident to us that the Duchy of Antica needs a holiday.
Thusly, I propose:

That the fourth week of February be declared ANTICAN HISTORY WEEK, that we may celebrate Antican heroes of old.

Alright: February

There is nothing going on except Black History Month, St. Valentine's Day and President's Day. BHM and PD are wonderful, but Valentine's is a phony holiday.

And as for Sptember...it is the single most tedious month of the year.

Incorrect. Jasonia Day, on February 19th, is one of the most significant February holidays for Shirerothians.

Ok, so how about...

Whereas, the Duchy of Antica has no established holidays of its own, and

Whereas, it would be of proper tradition to celebrate a day of foundation,

Be it resolved, that the first day of December shall be celebrated as Duchal Foundation Day

(unless you can come up with a better name for the holiday)
