Independence

On this day, the Fifth of April, Anno Domini 2006, I, Count Baldwin of Kaikias, declare the County of Kaikias independent of the Duchy of Antica. My reasons for this have been outlined in a proposition before the Chamber of Counts, as well as many posts here and elsewhere. I will join another entity soon. However, I shall not leave Shireroth. I hope the actions I have taken do not cause bitterness to rear its ugly head in the hearts of any of you here assembled.
