Someone with the appropriate name "marketing" posted the same message (an ad for Viagra) in about ten or fifteen forums, including most awkwardly the Malarbox one. I deleted the account and all posts, so it's gone now. Ari, if you see this, please check on whatever anti-spammer security we have that's worked so well thus far.

Also, tell me if it was bad for me to delete the posts before you could analyze them and whether you want me to do so next time.

I deleted them in the boards I'm mod in. I also reposted the latest Malarbox update as soon as I saw that the spambot had posted there.

You did fine. But try to deactivate the account next time, or just ban it. If you delete the account they can recreate it.
